"Welcome to Cherokee Family"
    I love cooking for my family and others. On many holidays when others are traveling the highways...we have a big get together at my place for cookouts with as many as 50 to 60 guest of men, women, and children.  We play volleyball, ride 4-wheelers, swim in my pool, shoot off fireworks (lots of fireworks)or just kick back and have a good time visiting.

    This is the homeplace...
that my husband and I built. We bought the 15.5 acres in 1991 and started building in 1992. We moved into the basement in June of 1993 and continued to build as we went along. It is located about 2 miles outside of city limits and we love it.

This is my husband and I taken at First Baptist Church  where we have been members since 1971. His name is Bill (Kimosobie) and I am Donna (Cherokee).
  He is part Black Hawk Indian...and as most already know...I am 3/4 Cherokee Indian.
My youngest child Dainta Marie      and her husband Joe. She is a Veterinary Technician and he teaches Creative Writing at the college level.  They live in Columbia South Carolina. So far the only grand children they have given me is two dogs (Banana and Froggie) and two cats (Ciggie and Dwizzle) which I love very much.
 

  This is my middle child... Duane and his wife Michelle and my two wonderful grandchildren... Kamerin Duane (age 4) and Madison McKenzie (age 2). 
Fortunately for me...they live in the same town as I do... so I get to love them to death ( and spoil them too!) To them I am just "Drot Drot".
Duane works in Maintenance at Fantasia where they make wonderful cakes and pies for hotels and airlines.  Yum Yum! Michelle is a Beautician but is presently staying home just enjoying being a mother.

And here is my oldest child...Fred,     who lives in Tucson Arizona and works as a Contracter building houses and (shhhh....) he is not married.
